Textured Poinsettia Ornaments — A Palette Knife Painting Class

Get your hands deliciously messy and sculpt a poinsettia that never wilts! In this class, you'll build bold, dimensional petals on natural wood rounds using modeling paste and acrylic paint, applied entirely with palette knives — no brushes, no drawing skills, no perfection required. It's more like frosting a cake than painting, which makes it perfect for beginners and anyone who loves texture.

You’ll go through layering the deep green leaves, shaping those vibrant red petals stroke by stroke, and finishing with a little gold center detail that makes the whole flower pop against the rustic wood grain. Each ornament is a natural wood slice (2.25–2.75") with a twine hanger, ready for your tree, a wreath, or the prettiest gift tag you've ever tied on a package.

All materials are included — just bring yourself (and maybe a friend). You'll leave with two handmade ornaments and a brand-new favorite technique.
