The World Through My Eyes” is a youth exhibition featuring artwork by middle school artists ages 11–15 from across the Pikes Peak region. Created in partnership with Surface Gallery, Meraki Springs, and 45º Gallery, the show invites young artists to share how they see their world—through color, line, texture, stories, and imagination. Various works from the exhibition will be on display at each gallery

Her collection, Ebb and Fold, transforms reclaimed books into whimsical sculptural works—each piece delicately curled, folded, and shaped into mesmerizing forms that feel alive with movement and storytelling. Ella’s art invites you to pause, look closer, and experience the magic hidden within the pages.

We’ll also be joined by local musician Anna Grace, whose soulful sounds will fill the studio and complete the cozy, creative atmosphere.

October First Friday Featured Artist: Erin Rosen

Join us Friday, September 5th from 5–8pm as we debut Beyond the Brush, a stunning new collection by Katharine Dreier of DryerDays Art Studio.

Katharine’s work transcends traditional painting, using the bold texture and movement of palette knife techniques to create pieces that are rich in depth and emotion. Beyond the Brush invites you to experience color, texture, and form in a fresh, captivating way.

“The Colorado landscapes I create are fantasy driven and surreal, as are my figurative pieces.  Created with archival dye based Chroma Life inks & printed on acid free fine art papers and metal. I offer my artwork as fine art giclée prints, & ready to hang metal prints. Metal Prints are made by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets, through a process called dye sublimation.
About the creative process
The creative process starts with a breath of inspiration, whether it is a beautifully written novel, or mythological tale, a dream, song lyrics, travel, or my native homeland of Colorado. I then begin by photographing images that express what inspired me, or sourcing black & white negatives from my own archives.  The next step is importing the shots into Photoshop & layering them. A lot of trial and error takes place during creation.  I then print a small test image to see if I’ve got the colors and levels right for output. Each image takes an average of two weeks to complete.”
